A PERSONAL VIEW
From a personal view point I have enjoyed all aspects of this project. From humble inclings of an idea to sitting down and discussing with everyone about which direction we should travel.
I have had tremendous feedback on my input into the installation and wonderful support from my fellow exhibitors. As the oldest I found new ways to introduce my past public relations experiences into the hands of my classmates.
The catering was well organised and the public who attended enjoyed themselves. Questions arose that everyone seemed confident in answering.
On the down side, the advertising, including mas emails, should have been designed and posted alot earlier.
Communication was our teams biggest downfall. Instead of constant communication it was only when someone came up with an idea or we waited a week until we next met.
From these mistakes I take with me knowledge of how to run an exhibition in a more streamlined way.
THE FUTURE
I have approached the Upper Yarra Arts Centre with the idea of showing my DECAY'D projection in 2013. The manager has agreed to the showing.
Outdoor video/art projection is another aspect to which I am excited about. As the Upper Yarra has a large art community this area has not yet been explored.
